About
We offer both. You can visit one of our four branches in Sandton, Alberton, Springs and Cape Town, or use our insured courier service to sell from anywhere in South Africa.
General
Prices, Fees and Payment
No. Testing and valuations are free, and we do not deduct any commission or evaluation fees. The offer we make is the amount you are paid.
We test the purity of each item, weigh it on a calibrated scale and base the offer on the day's gold price. You can check the current market value on our live gold price per gram page, or read how much is my gold worth.
In branch, once you accept our offer you are paid before you leave, by EFT or cash. For courier sales, your parcel is evaluated on the day it arrives and, once you accept, we pay by EFT within an hour of the evaluation.
Yes. Gold is valued on its purity and weight, so broken chains, single earrings and unmarked pieces still have value. Items without a hallmark are tested with an XRF analyser, which does not damage them. See how to tell if gold is real.
Our written offer holds for 24 hours, so you can take time to decide without pressure.
