Insurance valuations
A signed valuation certificate for your insurer, describing each piece and stating its value. Insurers often ask for an up-to-date valuation before they cover jewellery and watches, and an accurate valuation helps make sure you are neither under-insured nor paying for cover you don’t need.
Jewellery and coin valuations
An itemised written valuation of your jewellery or coins, with the tested purity and weight of each item. Useful for estates, for dividing a collection, or simply to know what you have.
Certificates of authenticity
A certificate confirming what an item is, based on our testing. For gold, silver and platinum we test the metal content with our XRF analyser, which does not damage the item. For coins we check the metal content, weight and condition.
How it works
- Book a time at one of our branches, or ask us about a visit for larger collections.
- Every item is examined and tested in front of you.
- You receive your signed written valuation or certificate.
Please ask us for current fees and turnaround times when you book. If you later decide to sell any of the items to us, we’ll make you a separate written offer, which holds for 24 hours.
